Anything about the acting that stands out or that you wanted to, to bring up?

Um, just that it was really good and, um, all of these depictions of gangsters, um, and how we learn through your behind the scenes that some mafia people even saw this as the epitome of mafia lifestyle and made it an orientation film, and even tried to emulate Marlon Brando and h- [laughs] and his portrayal of this just is the, probably the biggest and best testament to how good the acting was.

Not that it was an accurate portrayal because, well, as far as we know, Brando wasn't in the mafia, but that it was a perfect portrayal, a portrayal that pulled you in.

The reason why we did root for them, having that code of ethics that he stuck to, um, or the separating personal from business type dealings.

Um, and then of course Pacino's, uh, turn throughout the movie from a boy ...

E- even though he was a man, but he was kind of boyish in the beginning, how he treated the wedding, how he was talking about everything very frivolously, not a big deal, but ... 'Cause it's not me, and, and this, how he ended up looking in the end, even how he carried himself was, uh, really, really good, good acting

I was just gonna kind of, uh, bounce off what Alec was saying about, uh, our approach to combat in that, you know, we, we were obviously looking at Zelda for that too, but I think a lot of what we decided was that, uh, we wanted to, we wanted combat to have as much variety as possible.

And so that's why we have so many different weapons, and we focused on making sure that each weapon really, uh, it caters to a specific and very different, uh, play style than all the other ones.

Like, you know, with the whip, it's kind of more your tried and true, like, you know, you got range, uh, you got safety in, in, in its range, but it's also, like, very four directional and requires a lot of, like, precise positioning in the way that, uh...

Sorry, precise, like, positioning in the way that you would have to play a Castlevania game.

Uh, but then you also, you know, if you pick up the hammer weapon, which I'm sure a lot of you have probably seen, it's got, like, a massive hitbox.

And I imagine choosing pixel art in some ways is kinda similar to that because there are limitations of what you can do within the pixels and, and the, like the era of gaming that you guys are trying to, uh, resonate with, that makes the way you're, you're creating and designing much more purposeful and, and probably yields some really, really cool or maybe even unexpected results at times.

And what happens is one night Brendan is at McDonald's nearby.

The nanny, um, Juliana, is in the car with the daughter, and she sees this man coming into this house-

Oh, my God.

Right? And then he stabs his wife in the neck, allegedly.

Stabs his wife in the neck until she dies.

And so what happens then is that the nanny comes in, calls 911, and essentially is like, "Somebody ro- is robbing us.

Mm-hmm.

So they should know the area in the park.

Um, we had a, like a street with tents lining each side with the artists and the, um, different cities showcasing their areas.

Um, we had a stage at the end with a, um, I think a, probably a blues band.

We had Mississippi artists.

And the Mississippi Development Authority's tourism office, which I was working for, had the welcome booth up toward the front.

So I was in the wel- welcome booth tent with a table in front of us, and we had material and maps of, and information so that people could stop there, and they could find out we were having a catfish lunch and what they needed to do to get a ticket and who they, if they wanted to see.
