Hypnogogic.
16:27
Hyp- hypnogogic.
16:28
I was close.
16:29
[laughs] I was close.
16:31
But it's that place between waking and sleeping, and she says that is one of the best places to connect with our loved ones because the ego is offline.
16:41
We're still in that dreamy state.
16:43
You know, that ego is, it's constantly, you know, what's right, what's wrong, and it's so busy.

better. What do you think of mediums? We've talked to many of them.
4:33
And and we don't die.com. That is your website and if people go there they're going to learn about all the things you teach just and where and when to find those things because you're always bringing in people to help the bereaved to you know you have you have a lot of people will ask me you know who's a good medium and I have to tell you frankly I'm lousy dealing with mediums because I'm such a skeptic so you know, just go to wedontdie.com and find out who is being featured now by Sandra, because there are a lot of them and they're worldwide, really, right?
5:16
Thanks for that, Roberta.
5:17
Yeah, at the bottom of the page at wedontdie.com, if people wish to sign up for my email list, you get a free copy of my book.
5:24
And why I recommend that is because chapter 10 is about surviving grief.
5:29
When my dad died, I went through a Well, deep grief, but I needed to figure out why it hurts so bad, what's going on that good people start fighting.
5:39
And I found this whole world about why we grieve and some things we can do to alleviate the pain and understand it more.
5:46
So I always want to make sure people know that that's an access and that you can have that.

22 MINS LATER

27:32
That's how simple it is.
9:02
That's not old.
9:02
I know.
9:03
I know it's not old.
9:04
As a kid, I thought it was old.
9:06
But it's the deathbed visions right now that really comfort me.
9:14
Absolutely no one dies alone.
9:18
Uh, the great, uh, hospice doctor, Christopher Kerr, he wrote a book called Death Is But a Dream, and there's a documentary out about him, and he studied either 1,600 or 1,700 people in hospice in their final weeks, months, days, et cetera.

13 MINS LATER

22:30
I'm, or I'm having a dream or something.
3:50
In your o- in your opinion, at the dying moment, what's it like?
3:57
Well, for our loved ones, not so pleasant.
3:59
For us, it's like falling asleep, but not just falling asleep, but opening our eyes, and our loved ones that have passed, even our pets, are there with us.
4:11
And there's so much research.
4:13
One of my favorite people is Dr. Christopher Kerr, who wrote the book Death Is But a Dream.
4:18
He's a hospice palliatear- palliative care doctor who studied over 1,600 people.
4:25
And before we pass, those weeks, and some, with some people, it's months, but days, weeks, maybe months before we pass, we start seeing our loved ones, even our pets, like I said, as clear as if you and I were in the room together.
7:54
When you put together the, uh, program Shades of the Afterlife and people started getting interested, were you always spiritual at that time?
4:29
These Christmas stories of near-death experiences, miracles, in the next episode of your podcast, Shades of the Afterlife, you talk about one, don't you?
4:41
I talk about several.
4:42
I got the honor of interviewing music producer Joshua Silverberg, who had a near-death experience.
4:51
And he, with a group of people on the Angel Network, that's one of the streaming apps you can get, there's a new TV show called Miracle, eight episodes, and it's about people whose lives were transformed medically through medical miracles, through near-death experiences, through the power of belief, through prayer, through different things.
5:15
And these things aren't wishful thinking.
5:17
Like this guy, he was ready to die.
5:21
He had COVID.
