They wanna learn new things, and academically, we're able to see the results.

Yeah, and so when I very first started working in schools, I was volunteering my time.
4:43
I was in the corporate culture transformation world.
4:46
And during that time of volunteering, the reason I was volunteering was not only because it's a great thing to do and work with educators, but I had this mommy fire inside of me because my son had an unfortunate experience between one school and another when he was five that had everything to do with culture and nothing to do with academics.

So in, in following that and really working with schools to focus on what's best for students, what I recognized is the educators were the missing piece.
5:14
And so beginning to look at our schools as a place of work, and how do we create thriving workplace environments so that educators show up saying, "I get to go to work today.
5:24
I'm excited to go to work today, and this is what I get to do," not, "I have these 1,200 things to do, and this is weighing on me, and that mandate's coming, and this is coming." Because that's gonna happen no matter what, but who do you love working with? Because teaching can be lonely, right? It c- you're sitting in your classroom all day and barely in any adult interactions.

As we've seen the onset and the expansion of AI, how do you see, maybe frame, frame out where that expansion is, is still gonna happen, and yet what the role of the educator may evolve in that time, and where's something that's just fundamental that just still will not shift?
