Um, Samuel, does that kind of, um, mirror your experience as well?

Yeah, so, so definitely, yes.

So in terms of, you know, first of all, when you are a child, there are so many things that you don't feel like other people, you know? So, uh, I was a bit lucky because I was born in South Sudan, where the majority, uh, uh, are Christian or, you know.

So, so there were no pressure in terms of, you know, what to believe.

Until, uh, when I was 16, I moved to Khartoum, and that's where I began to, to experience the rest of Sudan.

For example, when I went to a secondary, to high school in a place called Jiele So I was the only Christian in one of the classes, you know, a class of almost 45.

I was the only Christian in that class, you know? And, and that was the first time for me to experience, you know, being asked about what I believe and why you believe, you know.

Um, and I was just wondering, what would you say really is the mark of the Sudanese church today? Um, is it one of praise? Is it one of lament? Um, how, how, how, how does the church navigate those, those two things together?
