And there was a lot of other theories that, in summary, basically came out to Reagan and her husband had come up with this elaborate plan to get her into the Olympics, but that didn't end up being true, and...

I think it spread so quickly because, of course, it was such a viral story.

The clips were shared everywhere.

And so most people probably just didn't really think that much about it.

They just saw it as a quick video and went on to the next thing they were doing on their lunch hour.

But of course, I mean, if this was the case, the Olympics would have found out or people in the community would have... told or it would have come out some way especially with social media and the internet today but there is actually a rule that kind of addresses this sort of thing and there was someone in the 80s that they specifically named this rule after so people couldn't as easily get into the olympics on technicalities One thing I do find very odd, though, is that whenever this has come up in interviews and the interviewer said like, oh, your husband wasn't a judge.
