And I'm not broke because I go to the strip club, but I do go to the strip club even though I'm broke, you know? You know, when I go to the strip club, I go with a smooth $40.

So you went from Malaysia to England, and then England to America? What was the path there? Yeah,

Can you explain it to the people, 'cause they don't all know, what the difference between being homeless in Orlando and homeless in Austin is like?

Well, Orlando's right in the middle of Florida, so, like, and I'm living in my car, so I can go anywhere.

I was living on the beach, man, going to Daytona, going to Tampa, you know.

Orlando, it's fun.

And, you know, ev- people in Orlando, they're having...

People in Florida in general are having so much fun that everyone's kinda homeless out there, you know what I mean? In, in spirit.

Everyone's spiritually homeless in Florida.

And the whole time you've been in your car?

How old were you when you realized that you were on track to, to be, you know, D1 college and with, you know, hopes to, to go pro?

Um, [clears throat] I think not until like high school, 'cause I had-- I mean, they've made rules where colleges can't reach out to you until like junior year or something like that now.

But back when I was looking at colleges, we had girls in like sixth, seventh, and eighth grade committing to D1 schools, and so I had a couple teammates that, on my club team that had committed in eighth grade or something, and I was like, "Oh, like I don't know if I can do that.

Like I don't know if I'm good enough to go D1." And then freshman year of high school rolled around, and I had interest from University of New Hampshire, so I actually committed to UNH my f- at the end of high school, 'cause they were the first school that gave me interest, and I was like, "Oh my God, I can play D1 soccer, and I can get a scholarship and all this stuff." And I was like, "Let me sign this offer before it leaves," you know? And so that, that happened, and then I got better.

I developed as a player and a person over the next couple years and, um, I was a July baby, so I was young for my age group, but old for the next.

And so I was playing on two teams in my club, and one of the teams listed me as un- uh, or not committed to a school.

And so I had like a couple schools reach out to my club and I, and they were like bigger, one being BC, and I was like, "Oh my God, I could play at Boston College." Like that's where my mom went, and so that's al- that's always been like a dream, like if I could play there, obviously I would want to.

It obviously sounds like there's no regrets at all, but is there anything that, any advice you would give to like a, you know, somebody who was about your age when you got that first offer as far as taking it or not taking it? Obviously, like you have the option to decommit and, and go elsewhere, but, um, you know, if you were to do anything differently, would you have waited out your options, or are you happy with taking that offer and then, you know, everything worked out for you?

And I just honestly can't wait to play in front of everyone.

It's so exciting.

It's a dream come true at the end of the day.

Like, little Sammy would be in awe of what, how far I've come and where I'm at now, and it's just, like, so exciting to play for the city of Boston.
