And I think it's funny, it is an area of feline medicine that thankfully has had lots and lots of research, partly thanks to Natalie and the groups at the Royal Vet College.

So thinking about making sure cats stay nice and hydrated, particularly in hot weather like this, making sure there's lots of sources of fluids within the home environment, maybe early intervention in a cat that's developing vomiting and diarrhoea or inappetence to make sure that they're maintaining that renal perfusion when they do have early chronic kidney disease that might contribute to progressive chronic kidney disease if we don't address it early on.
