Can you give us some background on this, Samantha?
11:18
Absolutely.
11:19
I have a lot of background, so I will try not to get too much into the weeds.
11:23
But Secretary Rollins and the USDA basically created this sweeping reform by way of memorandum, as you mentioned, that will help heal America's dairy industry because of the onerous ESG metrics they've been facing that have been hiding in plain sight.
11:39
And if you don't mind, I'll do a little bit of background on that.
11:41
I really understand how awesome that this is.
11:43
Yeah.
16:42
It's things like this that erode at our food security here in America, isn't it, Samantha?
56:03
But is that, is Dairy Net Zero your favorite thing that you guys are working on? Or do you guys have something else that you're stoked about or what's your favorite project that Impact has worked on?
56:13
I think that just following the vein of what everyone has been saying, COVID was so instrumental in shaping recent memory and especially public policy discourse.
56:26
I was on In the Tank a good bit when Donnie was still the host and all of it was regarding our COVID policy that we pushed through heartland impact hadn't yet been developed but it was the heartland institute gr team the governor is not god's work and then our big tech censorship which i think has kind of been referenced to by everyone um that was my favorite thing i i talked about it on the show with jim a lot i think that was maybe one of my favorite jim rants it's a subject that i got super passionate about um we we've discussed how the channel was demonetized during The lockdowns.
57:06
And that is something that we decided collectively we needed to stand up against.
57:11
We took the Net Choice, which is the trade association group for all social media firms.
57:22
We took them up to the Supreme Court in terms of legal challenges.
57:25
We worked in so many states to get laws passed that would ensure that Americans could not be censored on social media platforms, specifically regarding COVID.

And I mean, I'm dedicated the next years of my life to making sure that um our children's children do understand how powerful and valuable freedom is
42:54
I didn't think that was happening in the United States until you brought this to my attention.
42:58
Well, unfortunately, well, first of all, thank you for having me today.
43:02
I'm sorry I'm late straight from the preschool pickup line.
43:05
But unfortunately, the war on farmers is not just exclusive to the United Kingdom.
43:13
And we find that it's hiding in plain sight in the United States.
43:18
There's I think in the last few years, it's been my impression that a lot of people have the general impression that ESG has kind of died or that it's not as prevalent of an issue as it was, say, around 2020.
43:31
And to them, I would say that it's just rebranded and they've gotten smarter and sneakier.

And there is one from Mars Rock who says, how can federal or state governments eliminate the climate extortion imposed by industry against smaller companies?

It seems like our, our, our fellow ladies are not doing okay [laughs] there in New York.
14:01
No.
14:02
I mean, well, first of all, obviously, that's morally repugnant.
14:06
Um, but I'm not surprised.
14:07
I mean, these are likely the same people that we saw on social media celebrating when Charlie Kirk was killed.
14:14
Um, as we move into modernity, as we move more into, um, extreme liberalism and socialism, there's almost like a, I hate to say it, and there's no other word, but like a bloodlust.
14:27
They are totally fine when anyone who does not fit their narrative is killed, whether it's a capitalist in the case of, of, um, I believe it's Brian Thompson.

44 MINS LATER

58:28
Yeah
