Monks, form is impermanent, feeling is impermanent, perception is impermanent, volitional formations are impermanent, consciousness is impermanent.

What is impermanent is discontentedness.

What is discontentedness is non-self.

What is non-self should be seen as it really is with correct wisdom thus: "This is not mine, this I am not, this is not my self." When one sees this thus as it really is with correct wisdom, one holds no more views concerning the past.

When one holds no more views concerning the past, one holds no more views concerning the future.

So tell us a little bit about Frostline 808 and the new product that you brought today.

Yes.

So Frostline 808 was established in 2023.

The goal was to bring top in-demand products here to Hawaii, but what we take pride in is that all the products you see here is handmade locally, by us sometimes.

I mean it very literally.

Like, like when you look at the names that are being dropped, when you look at the circles that they are in, how they brought people in, who invested what to create this thing, literally they have Victoria's Secrets where they have the models, where these models are kind of filtered out to these young people who are like, "I've always dreamed of dating a model." Like, it came, like, came into an, a network of, like, what is happening on top of the fact of creating young girls', uh, mindsets with these companies, like Limited Too, uh, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Victoria's Secret? We were very heavily influenced by what this was, femininity.

And this was also being a successful woman is to be in these types of clothing, to look like these types of people.

That was created by groups that also funded this and, uh, are, who are now in charge.

What do, what, what were your thoughts on how Asian women are portrayed in this film?

Well, obviously between her being super crazy, as he notes, and she sets fire to his bed, essentially, uh, and then also that they are so fetishized by a whole community, which I had gotten that line from a, a, a Jewish dude one time that said that to me, and I kinda was like, "What? I've never heard this.

Is this your pickup line for me? 'Cause I gotta go." Like, this, it was a weird moment, but now that I've seen this movie, I'm like, "Oh, maybe that's where he got it from." I don't know.

But all of that to say is, like, it felt very much like in this realm of worlds, like, there is, first of all, women are not respected in any way.

Monks, suppose that on hearing, "The most beautiful girl of the land, the most beautiful girl of the land," a great crowd of people would assemble.

Now that most beautiful girl of the land would dance exquisitely and sing exquisitely.

On hearing, "The most beautiful girl of the land is dancing, the most beautiful girl of the land is singing," an even larger crowd of people would assemble.

Then a man would come along aspiring to live, not aspiring to die, aspiring for peacefulness, uninterested in discontentedness.

Someone would say to him, "Good man, you must carry around this bowl of oil filled to the brim between the crowd and the most beautiful girl of the land.

Maybe.

If you're trying to, to grow food the way that you're already eating from the store, that is gonna be a challenging project.

I think there's a lot of things that it's gonna be a lot easier to grow them, um, you know, garden stuff like sunchokes or walking onions that don't take any work at all.

So if you can work that into your diet, I think it'll be easier than trying to, to match what, how you eat out of the grocery store to the garden lifestyle.

And then also, they pick varieties where it's all, it all comes on at once because they harvest it with big machinery.

There are so many ways in which the, the choices of food that you have are diminished because of, like, the processing.

It's gotta all happen at the same time.

It's gotta be done with a machine.

Why did you get involved?

So I got involved when I was in eighth grade.

My teacher went to a leadership conference, and he heard about it, and he recommended that I apply for this random internship.

Um, I applied to be on the program and events team, and I got on, and I loved it.

So in my middle school journey, because I think middle school is definitely a weird phase for many people, I saw online bullying all the time or just people misusing social media to spread a lot of negativity.

So I think it was really once I joined the organization that I started talking about those things and started realizing that those things weren't okay.

So I just got really, I got really moved by the story and the purpose of what we're trying to help students figure out, which is how to navigate social media, because a lot of people don't know.

And how important is it for students to get involved in this effort versus having adults telling you how to handle social media?

As he investigates him, he comes to know: 'There are no such states based on grieving-- craving and greed in this venerable one.

The bodily behavior and the verbal behavior of this venerable one are not those of one affected by craving and greed.

Ugh, it was a long time ago.

For me, the videos have been super helpful.

I would say especially in cases where a common problem for me with cl- agents and cloud agents beforehand was almost like under-specification in my requests, where our plan mode and going really back and forth and getting detailed implementation spec is a way to reduce the risk of under-specification.

But then similar to how human communication breaks down over time, I feel like you have this risk where it's, "Okay, when I pull down, go to the trouble of pulling down and, like, running this branch locally, I'm gonna see that, like, I said this should be a toggle, and you have a checkbox, and, like, why didn't you get that detail?" And having the video up front just a- has that, makes that alignment like you're talking about a shared artifact with the agent very clear, which has been just super helpful for me.

It's been a few weeks since we recorded the podcast.

I have made some real changes.

I cut back on streaming services, um, housekeeping, and I even started [laughs] making homemade, like, pet food toppers.

I was spending at least $150 on this fancy pet food topper before.

So I canceled that, and now I'm making it myself, and it's fun, and it's a fraction of the cost.

I've also been funding investments and saving before, before my guilt-free spending, and I've been making aggressive payments on my IRS debt, so I'll be ready when my student loan deferral ends.

Now, she still thinks about getting high, but the feeling is fear that she'll relapse.

In rehab in, in the States, you can't leave, you can't do anything.

You can't have a phone.

And the nice thing about being here is that we do go out and we do do normal things.
