this is just, like, one of my least favorite things a pilot episode can do, where it's just like, it's so, it's fine, like, I, it, it, it's, it's that or, like, doing this, like, weird sort of like sideways trying to, like, imply who these characters are and their relationships, but, like, that's better.

But at least, but, like, there are times in the episode where the characters literally say something, and then John McEnroe also explains the same thing.

Like, when the, the mom is like, "By the way, like, your parents found you a husband," and the actress is delivering, "That's great," but, like, clearly she hates it.
