But Sam, how did you get into geochemistry, and why did you start a podcast especially?

I've been putting off me doing this part of it for a really long time, but I think a lot of people know a lot of the pieces of it.

So I got into geochemistry.

I was at McGill, end of my first year, and I had to select a major because in McGill at least, in your second year you have to declare a major.

So I had gone to all the geology parties, and those guys the year before had gone to Iceland.

They went to Tanzania.

And then my floor fellow, the guy that oversaw the residence that I was in, he for the summertime h- was a field assistant at Merapi Volcano in Indonesia.

Do you think the industry over-relies on simplified narratives for maybe, for investors, given everything we've spoken about thus far in the pod?
