Hey, how did you get involved into bar leadership? Cause you were at one point you were the state bar president, right?

You know, I was thinking back at that and, I guess I was always interested.

I was always a joiner whenever they'd ask for volunteers for different things.

I remember I became the chairman of Law Day, which was a pretty big deal in the Birmingham Bar.

And I was the chairman of Law Day back in 1982.

And before that, I'd been on a committee every year.

And I enjoyed that work.

Like, how did that come about?
