So, uh, Sam, uh, do you wanna tell us a little bit about yourself?

Uh, so I started judging competitively in 2021, and my store, um, in Cartersville, Georgia, Showcase Games, check them out, uh, they were like, "Hey, do you want to head judge our RCQs? You run all of our pre-releases." Said, "Do I want to? Yes.

Do I have any idea how to do that? No." So I ended up reaching out to the Greater Judge community.

I got connected with a mentor, Gary Rowland.

Uh, they brought him in, and, uh, they wanted to run limited RCQs.

So that's one thing that I figured out is very unique about how I grew up in the judge world, is I learned how to do competitive sealed first, and then I learned to do constructed later.

Um, and to this day, doing constructed still feels like using my nondominant hand to write.
