That's really cool.
31:00
Um, yeah, I, I, I mean, all kudos to the folks 50 years ago.
31:03
They made it really, they made it really easy, 'cause they were having these amazing conversations about what the discipline should be, right? And, um, we still do that, but our discipline has grown, and it is, um, sort of more rooted in chemistry departments and things like that, and so sort of the fervor of these really important conversations, um, aren't as, as often, right? But you can point to this program and see how, how deeply they were sort of talking about these things, right? Um, and so sort of from that, um, we had brainstormed, that would be me, my amazing program chair, Debbie Harrington, from Grand Valley State University, and, uh, a program committee made up of, um, folks from the United States, folks from all over the world, uh, and we brainstormed, well, i- what areas of chemistry are e- education are historically strengths that also sort of represent grow- uh, like ways that we can improve and move forward, march forward, if you will.
32:06
And so that ended up being the six conference contexts.
32:11
Um, and so, uh, it, it, it's a moment in time, right? We're not saying that, like, this is what we should, as a field, concentrate on.
32:19
They just seem to be the big things that a l- a, a diverse group of people kind of centered around, and if you ask people in two more years, it could be, it could be very different.
32:29
And so it is a moment in time, uh, for the most part.

15 MINS LATER

And you can build your own schedule, so you can kinda know where you need to be and when.
