And when you're in the cage, is there something that pulls you out of your game plan or is it just his movement just forces you to kind of step into what he wants? How does that happen?

Sam PattersonGUEST
Yeah, I think a lot of times when you watch him, people don't realize how fast he is or what he does until you're in there with him.

Sam PattersonGUEST
But I've actually trained with him before, so I know exactly what he's going to do.

Sam PattersonGUEST
So stepping in there, he knew what I wanted to do and I knew what he wanted to do before we even got in the cage.

Sam PattersonGUEST
And that's what made it like turning two magnets the wrong way around and they just bounce off each other.
6 MINS LATER
Jim NortonHOST
When your dream is to be in the UFC and you get the call and you have that first, and it was a first round TKO, what is your mindset right after it? Is it like, oh, fuck, everything's over? Or do you get your confidence quickly? Or what's the thoughts after it?

So diving into the specific conversations then, what areas do you think advisors should be covering with clients and their families, whether that's income continuity, access to money, wills, so on and so forth? So

Sam PattersonGUEST
So if one of the, I'm pointing, but if you start with two clients and one of them has passed away, how does the surviving spouse or client keep the lights on where are direct debits paid from is it in sole names in single names because ideally don't want all the money coming from a single bank account because then you might have to wait for probate so actually looking at the immediate need how do you keep the lights on how do you keep fees being school fees for grandkids being paid mortgages being paid whatever situation they're in It gets even more basic than that.

Sam PattersonGUEST
So where is the will actually stored? What is your Facebook password? Where are your account details? What lawyers and solicitors do you use? Again, these are all things that go beyond traditional financial planning, but it's so, so valuable because they're some of the questions that we get asked clients when someone passes away.

Sam PattersonGUEST
And then that's the first bucket is really the immediate aftermath and preparing people for that.

Sam PattersonGUEST
The second bucket is actually what's the longer term thing? What's the client built and what does actually, what do they think is going to happen with it? So that's sitting down with clients and looking at the world and going, this is what your will actually says.

Sue WhitbreadHOST
which is quite a tricky bit because the financial planning process, and just one last question really from me, how do you suggest that advisors can balance all those technical bits with the very human skills of having compassion and also the clarity? How do they balance those human skills with the technical stuff?

In the aftermath of that, did you make, obviously, the move up in weight divisions, did you make any other fundamental changes or did it just make you double down?

Sam PattersonGUEST
And I feel like they're moving up in weight divisions looking at it as an excuse why they lost.

Sam PattersonGUEST
It was a clear, everyone I talked to, everyone around says, how did you ever make lightweight? So it wasn't like I lost, it wasn't an excuse why I lost.

Sam PattersonGUEST
I went straight back to the drawing board and fixed skills and I always tried to improve as if that's the reason I lost.

Nick PeetHOST
For British fight fans, what are we supposed to do? Everyone's messaging me going, who are we supporting here? This is weird.
