Um, can you walk us through what it is, kind of the problem it looks to solve, and how it ties into the broader Good Dollar ecosystem?

Sam McCarthyGUEST
So the House of Alignment was the f- uh, first, uh, was the first implementation following CoGov, um, that tied directly to, so speaking about the effectiveness of the collaborative governance process that was and the, and the co-design process that was CoGov.

Sam McCarthyGUEST
Uh, the House of Alignment was a concept that was born from, from that, from that hackathon, right, with the community.

Sam McCarthyGUEST
Uh, one of the core ideas that came out of CoGov was treating, uh, Good DAO as a, uh, capital allocation vehicle, um, that is able to distribute its resources through both the protocol as well as the DAO's treasury, uh, to create, um, what I was, you know, I, I had termed at the time like a network, uh, incentive, uh, system or, sorry, a network alignment system.

Sam McCarthyGUEST
But basically just being able to distribute resources in a way that, that ties meaningfully aligned projects together.

Sam McCarthyGUEST
Um, one line I, I always come, like, come back to, um, in, in this kind of, uh, you know, like, that, that is driving, uh, this kind of, uh, structure is that, uh, financial inclusion, uh, that collaboration between, sorry, collaboration between aligned projects is key to scaling financial inclusion.

And so that said, I'm curious what your thoughts are on this and on this take of mine and, and what does a healthy kind of active DAO look like to you, and do you see GoodDAO kind of getting there?

I used to talk about DAOs V1, V2, and V3 already a year or two ago, but your essay has really reframed things as let's just call everything before DAOs 1.0, and now we need to talk about DAOs 2.0. Why don't you introduce us to what's in the essay for people who haven't read it yet, and what does it mean that we're saying goodbye to DAOs 1.0? What are you thinking for DAOs 2.0?

Sam McCarthyGUEST
I think it's important to establish the context in which this essay was motivated.

Sam McCarthyGUEST
A lot is going on right now within crypto, within the broader organizational ecosystem globally.

Sam McCarthyGUEST
I feel like there's been a narrative that there's been ongoing legitimacy crises with our existing institutions, both from a public but also private standpoint.

Sam McCarthyGUEST
and decreasing trust in governments, and then also decreasing trust in private corporations for completely different reasons, but also for reasons that DAOs have been created, right? Private corporations that seem to accumulate the majority of value that is created, leading to grave inequality across the world.

Sam McCarthyGUEST
Governments are a bit different, people questioning their capabilities at this point to actually execute good policy for their people.

Why don't you tell us a little bit more about this new term that you're at least bringing into play? What are you thinking in that
