Yeah, so Saturday we got into Germany in Berlin about 10 a.m., 10.30, and really hit the ground running.

We immediately went and got a snack at one of the host family homes, and then we went to kind of a common square.

There was a market happening there.

Um, and we did street evangelism, um, and, and the Grosjeans had kind of told us before that, uh, Berlin is very atheistic as a city.

Um, and at least in my experience, definitely felt that, uh, there was just a lot of rejection, but on the bright side had some really good conversations, um, with, uh, Eunice was one of them.

So over to you.

As a child, I grew up in a home where my mother was a Christian and my father a Sunday Catholic.

From a young age, I experienced health problems.

I was almost blind in my left eye.

My pulmonary and digestive systems didn't work properly.

I was hypermobile in all my joints and couldn't run or do other movements without injury that kids can generally do.

People in my private and school life would say, What's wrong with you? Why can't you just be normal? As a teenager, my health and development problems continued, affecting my endocrine and reproductive systems.

But I wonder, do you still get some pushback for doing these kind of more controversial, non-classical concerts? Or is it easier than it used to be?

You will always get some people saying, why is there that problem? And people are completely entitled to ask that question.

My response to that would be that in a season in which there are 86 concerts worldwide, I think that there is more than enough room to explore genres of music that lend themselves very well to an orchestral treatment.

And prog rock, a genre that was birthed out of this country and has an amazing story, worked very well for us.

But likewise, the centenary of the birth of Miles Davis, arguably the most important, the most influential jazz musician who ever lived.

I think it would be a very sad day if we said that we couldn't celebrate Miles Davis at the proms.

And indeed, that is what we will be doing.
