Um, but really the, the whole thing was a guise for a conversation that I wanted to have, which was about my reconciling with the death of my dad, who was a narcissist, and the what I wish I could say, what I wish I could hear from him, um, and, and what it was like being at his funeral and just feeling like, you know, the people that knew him did not know anything about my experience with him and how weird that was.

Um, so yeah, uh, of course anytime I have to do something personal I have to make it really silly and stupid and weird, um, you know, to not let too much emotion show, and that's kind of where The Blue Diamond came about.
