I would have said, no, get real.

Today we're going to talk about communion and we've been hearing some amazing words from Russell over these last number of weeks that is really leading us into this life of devotion and so of course communion is part of that and we're going to take communion together a bit later on but I wanted to really just go into more depth, I guess, about communion and what it means and what we have because of what Jesus has done.

And so, Jesus, wow.

Wow.

Everything that He's done for us, church, I'm not sure whether we truly understand.

And that's what I'm praying today, that our understanding would be enlightened, that we would gain a greater understanding of what Jesus did.

And so I want to start at this transition, I guess, between the old covenant and the new covenant.

It's called God is on our side.

And I don't feel like it is just a message that a preacher would, you know, work out and work on to bring to you.

I believe it's a reminder for every single one of us in this room, God is on our side.

No matter what you are facing or feeling or going through, no matter the, I don't know, the diagnosis, no matter what your bank account's looking like right now, God is on our side.

We've got to understand the character of our God, the might and the power of our God.

It's the good news of the Gospel that is in our mouths but also has been demonstrated to us.

It's all throughout the Word of God.

Um, I'm from Sheffield, and I started sort of in horticulture when I was 15, and I started to work at a plant nursery, um, which was just down the road from me in Sheffield.

And I just really enjoyed working there, and it was such a difference from school.

So I sort of, like, found my thing at 15.

So then I continued there for a little bit, like, in summer, and then went to college at Askham Bryan, did horticulture, and then finished that, and then thought, "Right, I don't feel like I know enough.

I don't feel like I've, I've learnt enough." I got looking online and found a uni course at Nottingham Trent that was horticulture, and I would never have ever thought I'd ever go to uni.

You know, tell me about what the project was that you chose to investigate.

We're like, "Hell yeah, dog"

So that's, that's really my advice is like i- you don't really sound like the kind of person who's okay with random hookups.

I wouldn't necessarily call this a random hookup.
