What's Pedro like? I suppose we won't really know what he's genuinely like until we're in the cut and thrust of the A-League proper, but surely there's a difference in pre-season, right, from coach to coach?

Sam CosgroveGUEST
Yeah, there is, and I could sit here for half an hour and go with the differences, how he's implemented his own philosophies, but I'll keep it brief.

Sam CosgroveGUEST
Obviously, he speaks really good English, but the communication isn't quite there the way that Steve was.

Sam CosgroveGUEST
he's obviously as I said he's implemented his own ideas of what he wants in a team which is always going to be different that changes from manager to manager but as footballers you need to be we're used to that you know you have turnover of managers every year back home every couple of months potentially so He's just trying to kind of capture everything that we did well last year and then build on it in the way that he thinks is necessary.

Sam CosgroveGUEST
But that confidence in the squad, the confidence from the manager and everyone, it never, it never died.

What were the keys? What were the main messages during the week from Steve Corica, the coaching staff, the senior players? What sort of, you know, what was the key to being so good last night?

Sam CosgroveGUEST
The kind of the messages that the manager has been giving us all season is that if we stay compact, resolute and don't concede, we're going to score goals and That was the case yesterday.

Sam CosgroveGUEST
I don't think he could have written the script any better himself, the manager, if he could.

Jason PineHOST
Is that a conscious decision to keep on staying on the front foot and defending in their half, if you like? I
