Okay, they're both fighting for the championship, I understand that, but it was... it's interesting to see the difference between how Fa- Ferrari have operated and now Mercedes are operating.

I, I think that, that it's not that they're not working closely together.

They, they will be at this point.

And I don't think there's any beef between the, the Kimi Antonelli side and the, and the George Russell side.

But for whatever reason, Kimi and his engineering crew are able to extract far more performance out of the battery pack and their racing car than George Russell's side.

There will be a lot of meetings and discussions going forwards as to why this is occurring, and George will be involved in those discussions as well.

But it's, it's strange that it continues to rumble on.

And then whatever he's doing with the battery, he's able to blast out of 14 and carry so much momentum down towards the Bus Stop chicane, brake harder and later than his teammate, which then recovers more energy into the battery and then boost more out of 19 and to the finish line.

It's a wonderful example of understanding the systems, software, and your race car underneath you and extracting the maximum out of it.

Talking of people that extracted the maximum, Max Verstappen, Harry, using his teammate for the best tow I think I've ever seen.

We, we called it on the radio, and I thought that, um, he'd actually lost time because they w- they got so close together at Blanchimont.

But I think from the driver's perspective, Sam, mentally for George, how much will this do for him, especially next week going to Silverstone for his home race?

Yeah, it's big.

It's very, very big for him.

He's had, you know, well, since Melbourne, he's been pretty much comprehensively beaten by Kimi Antonelli week in, week out, and Kimi's looked in such great form over the last kind of two months, I would say.

George needed a big weekend, and this was a big weekend for him.

Um, going into Q3, we thought that, uh, Kimi had pole position wrapped up, and we had no real signs of any massive pace from George Russell.

Anyway, all of a sudden, at the end of Q3, he's, he's pulled out the lap of all laps, got it on pole position, and then just really managed the race very, very well.

So yeah, a bad day at the office for Ferrari generally, but it just goes to show why it was wrong to think of them as title contenders 'cause there's still quite a lot lacking in that car to be able to take on Mercedes.

Um, so that nullifies any danger for the st- for the, for the marshals and for the driver that is having an issue or has gone off.

And in qualifying, you don't necessarily have that.

But in the rule book it says you've got to be prepared to stop and stop safely.

When you're going through a corner at a hundred and forty, hundred and fifty mile an hour, how are you prepared to stop safely? So I feel like they, they need to tweak the rules there slightly because they, they-- it doesn't really add up.

But is it, is it a bit more worrying if he can't understand where that lap came from?

Surely it's something more than winning.

Well, we've nailed the growth in the... transition in the way we play.

As you all know, transition is one of the key KPIs for any top class team.

And our transition at the beginning of the season was pretty ropey.

So as a team, we always know we're going to win ball.

all over the court, but we were pretty cheap with it.

And our sort of live turnover stats were pretty low at the beginning of the season.
