Scott SaldingerHOST
Let's talk about, Sam, who are some of your influences in coming into music? Who are some pieces of other styles or other artists that you really love that you bring to the sound of the band?
S
6:04Sam BakerGUEST
Well, actually, like back kind of when I started getting into just listening to music when I was in probably fifth grade, it was because Russ had sent me Brad's old SoundCloud playlist.
S
6:19Sam BakerGUEST
We had all these like crazy kind of psychedelic rap songs like Flatbush Zombies and Biggie.
S
6:33Sam BakerGUEST
And until I was probably 19, I was really into that kind of music for the most part.
S
6:46Sam BakerGUEST
And now I'm really into kind of the psychedelic scene now, which is like Tame Impala, Dope Lemon, a lot of those, those bands.

You got to check this out, which song would it be and why? So Sam, why don't you go first?
The latest on the wildfires - Downtown Surrey momentum - British Columbians are good recyclers
23:30

Simi SaraHOST
Is it, is it, like, habit that makes British Columbians good at this? Is it just that the system works really well? Like, what sets BC apart?
S
23:41Sam BakerGUEST
We, over 99% of the population has access to recycling services, be, be that at their, at their curb or be, they take it to a recycling depot.
S
23:53Sam BakerGUEST
Uh, but, but also I think British Columbians really care, and the more that they know and understand of what happens to this material, knowing that this material is responsibly recycled at the end of the day, make sure we continue to build that trust with, with residents and ensure that, you know, the action they take every day to put it into a blue bin or they take it to a depot, um, that goes a long way knowing that, that it is responsibly recycled at the end of the day.
S
24:37Sam BakerGUEST
So we've seen, or you may have heard about pink bins popping up in a few communities around BC.
