Well, how about you show us the slideshow you've created?
11:35
OK.
11:36
So I think I would like to talk about the title of the show, The Orange Crescent.
11:43
So orange is like the saffron which evokes Hinduism.
11:47
It is actually the color almost claimed by Hindus back in India.
11:51
So anything that is supposed to be the flags of hinduism is orange or you know labels all of those things related to hinduism is very orange in color the costumes and all of those things while the crescent is widely recognized as a symbol of islam by placing these symbols like side by side in the title for this exhibition, I'm not resisting the narratives that these position, like these communities are opposites.
12:28
Instead, I'm proposing a shared visual and spiritual landscape where distinct identities can still coexist without erasing that they have any differences.
