As the COP31 Presidency Youth Climate Champion, can you tell us a bit about maybe your background, and then also your role as the youth champion?

Yeah, for sure.

So when I introduce myself, like one of the first things I like to tell people is that I grew up in Allora.

It's a, it's a small town, about 1,000 people, on the Darling Downs in Queensland.

It's about two hours drive inland from Brisbane, and to get to Allora, you drive over the Great Dividing Range, a really beautiful mountain range, and, and you drive through rainforest to reach this sort of entry point to regional Queensland.

And Allora's a, a really farming community and, and that's what a lot of, I suppose, my friends and, and friends' families were farmers growing up.

And so, you know, I really saw the impacts of droughts and floods and, and just changing seasons on people's farms and on our local town and, and businesses.

I guess maybe you could tell us a bit more about what are your priorities as the Youth Climate Champion this year?
