And so what was that like stepping into kind of more of an educator role you know I know in marketing we all kind of have to then teach our sales team to do this or teach our team to do this but that doesn't come naturally to to everybody how was how did you you know feel being um the educator

yeah I mean it was something I I uh built presentations and I would come in to different work groups and show them here's how you can put your participation on the work groups and here's what you can do on LinkedIn to help us i think well first of all it's made easier by a supportive community for sure everyone was receptive everyone wanted to help and everyone was interested in doing what they could to support so that's the first step but then in terms of other things i would say really just guidance.

Something that's intuitive to marketing people is not intuitive to non-marketing people.
10:38
Like I've sent so many emails, so many presentations about here's why a repost can make a big difference.

It takes two seconds, you know, liking it, sharing it, say a comment like, wow, good job.
10:51
It does so much in the algorithm that people who aren't marketing people don't really, you know, think about it or realize as much.

So I would say really just A little note here and there goes a long way.

So for anyone who is early on in their marketing career, I know you kind of have jumped between different roles, but if you were talking to someone who is just starting their marketing career, what skills do you think... have made the biggest difference to you that you would say to them, make sure you focus on this or maybe not make sure, but you know, you might want to do X, Y, Z to be able to be successful in a career.
