The nomenclature change from NAFLD to MASLD in 2023 was actually quite significant.

Instead of an exclusion-based diagnosis, we now have a positive diagnosis with the exclusion of the word non-alcoholic.

And it's based on the presence of hepatic steatosis plus at least one cardiomyelobotic risk factor.

And again, reassessing those scores to see if then they should be an appropriate candidate to be referred to hepatology.

So can you just quickly explain what exactly is preschool and how does it work?
