Cowboys don't necessarily have interest in bringing in a guy at his age and perceived dollar amount, I assume, because he made over $6 million last year with Washington.

Yeah, I think the dollar amount would be the main holdup here.

I did just some – made some calls and things like that, and I do feel like there would be interest at the right dollar amount.

That's just the kind of – just the thing I'm getting from, you know, just people around the league that it's not just about – the fit, the scheme, all those things.

The dollar amount is still a factor.

Now, if he chooses that, if he wants to really come to Dallas and that's something that, come back home, have that story arc, all that stuff, I think there's a place for him to do that.

But at the end of the day, there's different ways that these things are being conducted in Dallas now like Christian Parker is not your old guard anymore we don't know if there's a deadline that he has does he want everybody in training camp for a new system a new culture a new way Von Miller you know obviously a veteran might not want to go through training camp if you remember a couple years ago there was quite a few signings at the end of training camp before roster cutdowns I do and that might not be the way that business is being done in Dallas anymore

That's one of the first things that jumps to mind because I think you can live without Pickens as long as Lamb is in his prime and healthy.

The question is, is he gonna be an arbitration guy? Because if he goes to arbitration with Dallas, I don't wanna say 100% he's out the door after next season, but there's a great chance that this is his last year.

Th- there's also a lot of feelings reparation that has to be done.

Like, I know these are guys are all pros, and they're making a lot of money, but Thomas Harley just signed an eight-year deal a few months ago and, and was at the centerpiece of a trade that Dallas fully signed off on and was only shot down by the other team's players.

So you just have to have a conversation with him, um, make sure his head is in the right space, which like I said, it should be...

It, it shouldn't be a huge deal.

Um, but also, it's not so much even with Harley.

To me, the more interesting part about that is Andy Scott, Harley's agent, is also Robertson's agent.

Like, the franchise value's gonna skyrocket, and we're quibbling over a couple of million dollars.

I think you look at the window, and at some point you want to make sure you're not turning into 2010's 2000 San Jose Sharks.

And so you want to make sure that whatever your window is, you don't just keep extending it because you have three cornerstone players.

And I think Jim Neal has gone all in quite a few times.

I think Chris Tanev is proof of that.

Like, I don't think the agent is really playing as much, meddling as much as other people would think because the agent has a really good thing going with the Stars right now.

Um, also, when you look at the qualifying offer he has right now, um, the compensation that someone would have to give up off of a qualifying offer for him is two ones, one second, and one third.
