And so what are the behaviors within dance education that have become so normalized that many people no longer stop to question, in your opinion?

Yes.

Instagram is one.

And as an educator, it's kind of changed what I do now because of the culture that's online.

I'm teaching a lot of students in private lessons now or I'm reached out for private lessons and I find myself going backwards.

You know, they're so far ahead of where they should be.

And not that the skills that they're working on shouldn't be the level that they're at at that time, but you can tell that just foundational things have not been ever taught.

What's your advice for parents and studio owners? that are directing kids on how many, you know?
