But yeah, so because Ryan, you guys have been through Istria before, right?

Yeah.

I mean, we, years ago we did, you know, we went, uh, there was like, kinda the, the kickoff of COVID, and then we, all of our travel plans got canceled, but Croatia was still open.

And they're, you know, like, "Hey, come on, come on board." So we, we were like, "Well, let's do that." And that was the first time we w- did a, did a singular country on one of our trips.

So we did just two weeks of just everything.

We started in the capital.

We moved down to Istria Peninsula and did all the, you know, hill towns, and then we did, you know, we did Pula, and we did the, the coastlines and all the Venetian towns and stuff there.

that was extremely well done and they have temporary exhibits they have one that will be going through 2027 that was just absolutely beautiful

yeah he really liked the uh the language which i really like too because he was just like oh look at this because he's just seeing that like like this sound is this is this letter and this and what i you know he's just kind of curious and it's like a whole whole different thing so i thought that was really cool that they're they're you know trying to preserve that because i mean like they're kind of pushing out there that well a lot of these are disappearing and there's not enough people around to keep it there so they're at least trying to get it cataloged you know and be like hey this was something there so people can remember it but he really liked the i really like too is the the egyptian section it was very well done a lot a lot of like videos and explanations so you can like listen to audio stuff and watch like these different videos and things and and gives you like whole concept of like you know going from the what the stages are of like the afterlife or like what how they start to do the funeral process and the mummification all these different things there's a couple interactive things where like there was a mummy there and then you press these buttons and it would you would read whatever it is and you'd press it and then it would show like you know the like the you know the heart and the feather on the scale and then it would show like what what it means and then like these different talismans or whatever that they'd put around the the mummy or other things and what what you know all the purposes were and everything so i thought that was really cool so it was i mean it was for and it was a huge but it was a very nice size exhibit and very well done so you know kind of that whole uh quality not quantity sometimes and i think it was really well done

And so we're going to talk about that one because that one really blew us away.

And when he gets into high school, don't you think from this?

I hope so.

I mean, I, I think, yeah, because he gets to, you know, experience it and, and, and, you know, that immersive education I think is so important and which, which the U S needs to do more of, even if it's just doing local field trips, you know, to, you know, whatever, go, go into Philadelphia and seeing the, you know, seeing these old, these certain old towns and historic buildings and whatever, because, you just understand it more and you kind of, I think pay attention more, you know, but, but you remember, you're like, Oh wow.

You know, just you're reading a book.

It's you read a book, but you know, but when you're in that place and you're with certain people, I think it's, it's just better all around for, for paying attention for retention and everything.

And I mean, he still brings up things that we did in Ireland last year, you know? So I think it just opens their minds a lot more.

One year makes a difference.
