2:40
Yeah.
2:40
And this year I, I scaled it back, and for most of the year I wasn't gonna do it, then I did it, and I'm, I'm always glad at the end.
2:48
I'm always glad that I do it.
2:49
Uh, like I said, it, it's for the comics.
2:51
It's not...
2:52
I always try and take my own vanity out of it, 'cause I want it to be great, and, but it's mostly, it mostly is I want it-
4:56
Yeah.
4:56
And hopefully, hopefully I come up with something for next year that gets more people out and gets more eyes on people.
37:55
Yeah.
37:56
You know, I put a lot of pressure on myself.
37:59
I want it to be good.
38:00
And so a lot of anxiety for these three weeks.
38:05
I hope, you know, I hope at the end of the day the comics enjoy it.
38:08
And that's probably the only reason I'm still doing it.
38:13
I don't know.
40:10
That's right.
1:16
How did you develop your comedy voice?
1:23
Well, I think it's just sort of, I grew up in the 90s, I did like alternative sort of 90s punk rock, grunge type music, and I think that sort of informed the way I do comedy.
1:41
When I was growing up, it was sort of the beginning of PC culture.
1:50
And so a lot of growing up and trying to be funny as a child was about seeing what you could get away with.
1:58
You know, what things you could say, what you could get away with.
2:02
And I think then when I started getting into comedy as an adult, sort of in a similar time where there's kind of, some people like to restrict on what you can say, what you can't say, what you can laugh at, what you can think is funny.
2:20
and that punk rock sort of 90s alternative kid is still inside of me where I kind of want to rebel against that, push the envelope, that sort of thing.
2:47
But you still had like, Were you writing jokes early on or just like you had an idea of what your joke style, I guess, was kind of going to

38:27
Um,
38:29
well, I think it's just sort of, um, I grew up, I grew up in the 90s.
38:35
I did like alternative sort of 90s punk rock grunge type music.
38:41
And I think that sort of informed my the way I do comedy.
38:47
When I was growing up, it was sort of it was sort of the beginning of PC culture.
38:55
And so a lot of growing up and trying to be funny as a child was about seeing what you could get away with.
39:04
You know, what things you could say, what you could get away with.
