What insights do you have for Vic based on your own experience?
7:30
Man, um, yeah, first off, I totally resonate with being in an abusive home, just having a stepdad that, um, just hated to see me smile, let me tell you, man.
7:39
Um, it was like anytime I was happy, like I had to, uh, worry about whether or not he was going to do something to make me unhappy.
7:48
And yeah, like that was very traumatizing.
7:52
Going into, um, adulthood, I just always carried this feeling of like whenever things were going well that like the rug was gonna be pulled out from underneath of me, and it has things to do with my stepdad and, you know, different traumatic events happened when I was a kid.
8:07
Um, but yeah, it was, it was very difficult to work through that trauma.
8:13
What I'll say is the things that helped me the most, um, really is therapy.

TK ColemanHOST
32:48
[laughs]
32:49
[laughs] But yeah, man, I mean, yeah, just thinking about... 'Cause yeah, moving to LA, that, that was a major relocation.
32:55
Moving to Philipsburg, that was a major relocation.
32:56
Moving back, or forward, I guess, uh, uh, to, to Missoula, um, that was a major relocation.
33:02
But every time that I've done this, like, there was a plan on what I was doing.
33:07
So, like, just going back to, like, you know, Steph, it's like sometimes the answer is to move and to have a fresh start.
33:13
But you gotta have a plan.

An artist
1:20
It's just been raining the whole time.
1:22
I was s- telling my friends, like, how that's how it was when you and I would come to LA-
1:45
We won't spoil it yet, but we'll, uh, we'll be, uh, announcing it, I guess, in the, in the next few months, hopefully.
1:52
Yeah.
1:52
Yeah, definitely, man.
1:53
It's, uh...
1:53
Yeah, I'm, I'm excited to announce it.
52:01
[laughs]
52:02
But no, I mean, what, what it came down to was, like, our...
52:05
You and I did this out of pure, uh, like, just, uh, something that we wanted, something that we did, something we wanted to put out in the world.
52:14
It wasn't a, "We have an idea, and now let's put money in the driver's seat and see how we're gonna make money." But this gentleman, um, his wife was doing a blog, and he was very much putting money in the driver's seat.
52:27
And, uh, they're not around anymore.
52:29
And it's not that they couldn't have made it, but it just was kinda like a symptom.
52:34
His questions was a symptom of, you know, maybe he didn't really believe in what he was doing if he couldn't make money at it.
19:12
Ryan, why, why do you think it is that w- we, we keep pursuing more? Is it because we don't ask what is enough?
19:20
Oh, man.
19:21
I, I think for me it's because if something is making me content or happy, I don't ever think to myself like, "Oh, wow, I'm content and happy." Like, my brain goes to, "If I had more of whatever this is, I'm gonna be happier.
19:37
I'm gonna be more content." And I think that's where I go wrong, is I never stop to consider that maybe this is my peak happiness, this is my peak contentment with something.
19:46
Like, um, I think about when I used to have trouble with, like, drugs and alcohol.
19:50
I mean, that's what it was.
19:51
It was a matter of, like, me having a drink or two and being like, "Oh, wow, I feel pretty loose.
24:10
but there wouldn't be more contentment behind that, Ryan.
38:03
I just didn't like it.
38:04
Speaking of the kinda ads you see in LA, I'm sure y'all have seen this one.
38:08
I was driving on the highway, and I saw an ad that said, "Have you been injured in an accident? Squabble up.
38:15
Call Drake the lawyer."
39:38
Did you have a standout moment from anything we were doing there, TK?
39:42
Oh my gosh, just the, uh, the opportunity to have the three of us together again.
39:46
That was something special, you know?
9:20
So it's impossible for you to enjoy it without the, uh, accessories, unless you simply just accept that as part of the process.
9:26
So I think about snowboarding, and I was just talking to my physical therapist about this.
9:30
He was like, "Yeah, we went to Big Sky, but you know, my wife forgot her bibs, and we had dogs with us.
9:36
And, like, by the time we got on the hill, we were only able to go for a couple hours.
9:40
And we were supposed to be there for however long." And I'm like, "Yeah, dude, that's kind of the experience that I have with snowboarding." It's a pain in the butt to get up, to get ready, to get out the door.
9:49
But then as soon as I get on the hill, I'm like, "Oh, this is why I do this, and this is really amazing." It's part of the experience.

And I feel like there's something beautiful about that.
