So let's start at the beginning, Ryan, or at least the beginning that I'm really curious about, which is how did you come to start your Substack? Why in the world does that thing exist?

Ryan MaxwellGUEST
Well, honestly, man, it kind of goes back to... just as I was leaving corporate, I wanted to be one of my, one of my strategies or business plans, one of the businesses I wanted to create out of, um, leaving that, you know, into my next phase was a coaching practice.

Ryan MaxwellGUEST
I wanted to be a small business coach and then our small businesses just consume my time.

Ryan MaxwellGUEST
Um, and, At that point, I really wanted to start doing coaching, but I didn't want to focus much on business coaching, if you will.

So at what point did you start to kinda make that shift towards that, that way of thinking from where you were before?

Ryan MaxwellGUEST
There's been a lot of s- you know, moments, um, I call them two-by-four moments, where y- where life just knocked the hell out of me, and I had to, uh, sort of pause and reflect.

Ryan MaxwellGUEST
My wife had a business, and, uh, I was helping her on the back end, you know, with the, the finance side, the, the, the IT stuff, the website.
