What made you want to get involved? What does it mean to you to captain as well one of the teams this year?
3:03
Well, I think...
3:05
I don't think it picked me based off my ability alone I was a bit rusty and gay like I think it was more everything else I can bring like kind of like energy and stuff and obviously now that's not just a team that I'm captain in but the whole event everyone's a team even the everyone that shows up even everyone that supports so I think it's more the energy for everyone and for all the causes as well and like that you get a kick about as well but I think it's definitely like arriving at the event like the the energy in the dressing room and stuff like that i think i've been to many charity matches this is the first ever gaelic one and they're great crack and i think i know what kind of it's going through everyone's head like a lot of people act quite scared yeah before going onto a pitch because they're everyone's like a fish out of war so i think me being captain, having that bit of experience when it comes to that works, not just only my Gaelic ability, but I think based off of that alone, it's special.
8:11
What is the atmosphere like behind the scenes? Like, is it competitive or is it just everybody having the crack?
8:18
it's a bit of crack to go no at the capital i'm saying yes as in it um we still want to have like an entertaining match and i think that's one of the big things as well in charity matches it's very easy that um people feel like they're not a part of it especially on the pitch if people go gung-ho but i think it's good that if we kind of nullify based on ability alone for example 50 is good in the ball.
8:43
Then as we have a player there who's also good in the ball, they match up on the pitch.
8:47
And then two people who haven't got experience, they kind of matched up together.
8:50
And I think that's a good way of doing it.
0:00
As you listen to God, people are changed.
0:02
It's not your story that's really great.
0:04
It's not how you really tied all this in super well and how you got to this conclusion.
0:10
People are growing because the Holy Spirit's speaking to them about who Christ is, what he's done, and they're being transformed.
1:43
Whenever you
1:43
want.
1:44
Whenever I want? Uh-oh, that's dangerous.
1:47
Technically, I have 10 minutes.
0:00
But every week he would say, the first part of your message is way too long.
0:04
Could you please give us some more examples? And this was in the lobby after first service and getting ready to go back into second service.
0:12
But he would say it every week.
0:14
Now, what I knew about him was he was saying, I'm really having a hard time understanding what you're saying.
0:20
And your context is great, your background information is great, but the way that it's coming out, and the last part of your message, the last five minutes is the best part of the whole thing.
0:30
If you could just elongate that last five minutes and make more of the message, that would be great.
9:31
I know, I know.
9:33
I'm just throwing out, because I think it's a good pushback to have, because that is the question that a lot of people are talking about.
9:39
So I think there is a way to use it.
9:42
So I was joking with my kids one day about a year ago, and I sat down on my computer.
9:46
I said, hey, I'm writing my message.
9:47
I just did it through chat GPT, and it just spit it out.
9:50
I think I'm good to go, so I'm done.

12 MINS LATER

22:11
I've prepared, but in the end, I'm going to give it to the Lord and trust that the Spirit's going to do His work.
