How did, you know, you kind of gave us a bit of a picture of how you felt, but like, so what did you, when that 15K happened, were you down in, okay, wow, do I need to get out of my global index funds? Do I need to change strategies? Is this too volatile? Like, what were you thinking at that time?
35:48
I wasn't...
35:49
I wasn't really thinking anything because I think the most important thing really when you're investing is that, particularly in the stock market, crashes are just going to happen.
35:58
It's unfortunate, but it's just part of investing and it's impossible to avoid.
36:02
And I think if you know they're going to happen, you're then not as...
36:07
It's not as jarring when they do happen.
36:09
And I've seen obviously some crashes happen in the past when I've had smaller sums of money, which has helped.

What's your reaction to that? And what should people be doing right now to, you know,
11:51
What's your preferred investment platform or investment platform
11:54
type and why? So my favorite type is essentially low cost DIY platforms.
12:02
The reason being is because they're low fee, generally speaking, and because you have a wider range of investment options.
12:09
And I think if you feel confident And I guess it's all like a trade-off between if you give someone more control, there's normally less choice and higher fees.
12:18
And if you take more into your own hands, there's normally more choice and lower fees.
12:22
So I prefer low-cost DIY platforms.
12:24
Now, my favorite one was always Vanguard because essentially for really, I think they came to the UK in 2012.
