Kind of put in perspective what it's like to be out in this kind of weather getting ready for football.
15:00
Camp is a different beast.
15:04
And I know everything has changed since back then when we were doing it.
15:08
I don't even think they're allowed to do two-a-day practices anymore.
15:11
Now the heat is something that you've got to be in shape, and the summertime conditioning comes big into play.
15:20
But you can be in as best shape as you can be, and this two weeks or three weeks or so of fall camp, when it comes and gets you, You've got to just dig deep and find some type of way to push through it.
15:32
The mental toughness of it is what's going to build you and your teammates for the long haul, for the season.
18:27
You know what I'm saying? As an offensive lineman, how important is it to work with the same group consistently? Some mix and matching, but for the most part, a group consistently working together for communication purposes.
17:55
Yeah
17:55
... like, it kinda clicked in my mind, like, if I wanna be successful at goats here, I gotta spend time up here and just, like, be immersed in it.
18:04
So that, that hunt was a little disappointing, but it definitely set the bug in me.
18:07
And then in 2022, I drew another goat tag around Pemberton, actually.
18:13
So that was a blessing, 'cause I could-Basically do, like, weekend trips from Vancouver up there.
18:19
So another friend of mine who actually put me onto that draw, him and I went and did six days up there, and we ended up pulling out a little bit early.
18:27
He had a pretty scary fall on the third day.

50 MINS LATER
