Wh- where was the closest bus stop previously before the, the new bus stop appeared before and in front of your business?

So when they built the Disraeli, uh, overpass, they actually built a large sidewalk just before the lights at Higgins and Waterfront, so the bus had to stop right at the lights, which had ample room, didn't have any parking taken away for it, and everybody was able to get on the bus and off the bus.

73:21Ryan GobeilGUEST
Well, I guess with their new, um, transit route system, they are no longer putting bus stops in front of red lights due to increased accidents is what they told me.

So the only situation that they could do was put a bus stop in front of the retail store that exists in maybe a 10-block radius on Higgins Avenue and had to take away the customer parking right in front of that retail location because that's where the new bus stop had to go according to their computer system.

So what other option might there be, I don't know, further up the block if they want this bus stop not to interfere or be at a s- traffic signal, how much further up the street would they have to go in order to find a place that would maybe make you happy or, or, or be a good compromise for you, Ryan?
R

So, uh, I actually had a meeting with our counselor and Transit, and I have voiced all of our opinions.

The bus, literally their bus turns off of Waterfront and goes down Annabella, which is the next street, uh, to the east of us, and there's about a five or six block radius, maybe more, that they could put the stop, because it's a hub stop they called it.
R
75:35Ryan GobeilGUEST
And they don't wanna move it there because they had reasonings for, jaywalking was one of them, uh, a tight corner, having to install new traffic signals, which would cost too much, and then the last one was the curb height.
