So similar to Christian, my dad is a, a pianist.

He sings, and he played in bands when he was younger.

And, uh, he would sit me down as a little kid, like an infant, and put me on the piano stool.

And he'd play the piano, like Stevie Wonder and stuff, and he said I would just bob right on the beat.

And he's like, "Oh, you're gonna be a drummer," and he just always told me that, and so became a drummer.

Oh, yeah.

And, uh, I was terrified.

And the smart thing

that we did was use that as permission to make some pretty drastic changes.

If I'm being honest, we weren't super healthy financially going into COVID.

And so COVID forced our hand with some things.

But we used it to our advantage to right size the ship and to change things.

The shrinkage part is tricky because I feel like closing stores was like giving away kids, right? You put your heart and soul into these.

And there was one store in the Red Hanger story.

It's very, very hard.
