So why do our lives so easily drift away from what we say matters?
2:11
Yeah, it's a great question.
2:12
And, um, you know, I, I first should say I'm still learning as I go too, right? Like, life is always kinda coming at you and changing, uh, and is busy.
2:21
Um, but I think, you know, one of the biggest reasons why we kinda drift away from those things is just we struggle as, as a society with, uh, self-awareness.
2:33
You know, when I, when I deliver workshops, I actually create space for attendees to actually, uh, investigate and have time to kind of explore things like their energy, things like their core values, which we'll get into here in this conversation.
2:47
And a lot of the feedback I get from folks is that they never really had time or they never really dedicated any time to actually sit and go through that process.
2:56
And we live in a time where we have all the information we need, uh, but sometimes it's actually about kinda closing that out for a minute and just kinda focusing inward and doing a, a bit of an assessment of where is our energy, where is our energy going? What is it we truly enjoy? What makes us actually happy in this moment, in this chapter of our lives? And again, it's always changing too, right? So I think that's a big thing.

25 MINS LATER

28:20
So, like, how can we actually move them from the page into day-to-day behavior change and action? Is there anything that you can shed light on there?
45:21
Mm
45:21
... within the walls of Evin Prison, um, really, you know, for being an American citizen associated with an American-funded journalist outfit, Radio Free Europe.
45:30
And he's endured a military strike on the prison by the Israelis back in June of last year, and then he's endured all-out war just outside the walls of that prison ever since.
45:40
And so he suffers from some preexisting medical conditions, conditions that began as a result of that, uh, airstrike by the Israelis.
45:49
And, you know, he's now in a, in a very, very difficult position, but knows, because of my communications back with him, that I've been engaged in every corner of Washington, DC to try to prioritize his release.
46:38
Mm.
46:38
Now, the president may not have had all the details when you interviewed him last Saturday or Sunday, uh, however, I believe him when he says that he's going to bring Americans home.
46:48
And there are at least six stuck in Iran, Reza among them.
