It just didn't work, and I would love to not only hear your expertise, but learn from you so that I can do this better next time"?
28:11
Yeah, Mark, that's a great question because I think, and especially, you know, our both backgrounds is from emergency medicine, and I think one of the challenges in emergency medicine education, especially as we have more and more, uh, lower acuity patients coming into the emergency department and more and more programs, we have the difficulty to have enough reps with those high acuity, uh, presentations to get to form adequate mental models.
28:38
And even if you are in a place, you know, where maybe you're seeing gunshot wounds and escape patients on the regular, you might not see LVAD patients or organ transplants emergencies.
28:51
Those are few and far between.
28:53
And so how do you get enough reps with adequate variation in the higher acuity patients? And so some form of simulation or online education is probably needed to supplement what people are getting clinically.
29:08
And how do you make that scalable? And that's some of the areas that Rapid Sequence seeks to address, giving you lots of reps, having it be scalable where lots of learners can do it at the same time, and have adequate variation so it's not just a focused area that is limited to what you see in your patient population in your residency.

But how do you engage that modern learner? I mean, most of them are on social media, and most of them are getting their information from social media, which is fine, but what are your perspectives about engaging that learner with these particular topics?
33:43
Yeah, and I think this is a classic area that I think we're all trying to figure out as things progress quite rapidly.
