So for the National Corvette Museum, it's really the structure that gives the process its weight, right? We want to make sure that we're doing our due diligence and really putting forward those names and personalities that have made such a huge impact.

The nominating committee is responsible for developing the slate of candidates and It's made up of 12 voting members who serve three-year terms with members rotating over time, so there's both continuity as well as fresh perspective, right? Now, once the committee has reviewed the candidates, it can nominate between three and eight official candidates in each category.

A candidate must receive at least 75% majority vote from the nominating committee, all done by secret ballot to be added to the slate that then goes to the electors.

Then the final decision moves to the panel of electors, which includes, again, no fewer than 100 individuals who have really been so active in the Corvette community for at least the last 15 years.
