Yeah.

Um, and with my book, with George Falls Through Time, I mean, that's very much what George is, is doing.

He's an out gay guy who's, who's not going through any sort of identity crisis, but he's still dealing with that loneliness that can, I think, can easily scar you as you're growing up and, uh, coming to terms with your own identity and, and feeling that, that loss-ness.

Did either of you feel, because I, I know writing is not always with, like, "I'm walking into this project with this moral of the story in mind." You are walking in with the, like, "I have a good story in my head I need to get out of me." So I, I understand that, but do you find along the ways that there are things like this that it's important that you've portrayed the, when it comes to pain and-

Yeah.

Um, I think George Falls Through Time, it's- it's drawing a lot of parallels between, I mean, George is going through this kind of very brutal, physically brutal time when he time travels and he ends up in, in medieval England, and it is all about physically what's forced on you, whether it's the food or the people or just kind of the physical turmoil of, of trying to survive.

And at the same time, I wanted to show George's previous life when he lived in modern times, which was not physically brutal [laughs] and was not a difficult time to live in, but it was, I needed to show kind of a psychological equivalent to medieval life and show kind of an emotional pain, I guess, that, that, that he has, um, because that's sort of the catalyst for how he ends up time traveling is, is through just kind of the stress and misery of, of modern life.
