Um, well you asked for my story.

I'm going to see if I can do it in a minute or less.

My name is Ryan.

As you mentioned, my background, um, It goes back to Cal Berkeley.

I was a chemical engineer there.

And, you know, coming out of Cal Berkeley, my first job was actually working in a manufacturing plant that was fun to call chemicals.

What does the next 10 years look like?

in the kitchen?

As, as for now, the focus is very much on the wellness of the herbal tea, but, uh, as I mentioned earlier, I mean, our pastry team, uh, they already curated, uh, two, uh, dessert sweets item, which is the 66% dark chocolate infused with ginseng and then the chrysanthemum chantilly tea.

Yeah, these are the two main focus now, but we are looking into, uh, bringing more items to, to the, to the menu.

Okay, Ryan, why should we come to this tea?

I think afternoon tea is, uh, is a time for people to pause and reconnect, right? So, uh, people come with friends, cele- celebrate a special occasion, but I felt that it's perfect setting to introduce our wellness because guests will be having both a time to reconnect with their friends and also, uh, enjoy some, uh, wellness and look after their health being as well.

So why don't we kick us off with you giving the audience a little context on who you are and what it is you do.

Right.

My story, and let's try to do 60 seconds or less.

I went to Cal Berkeley, chemical engineer.

I worked in a manufacturing plant that was spun out of DuPont chemicals.

We manufactured reverse osmosis membranes for brackish water desalination over the wastewater.

I was a process engineer there, and every single day I was thinking about how do we streamline our manufacturing process, make it go better, smoother, faster, run more productively, and break down less.

Getting into the weeds of an evaluation of any sort of technology and an implementation, what are best practices that you've seen when someone's going through that to change their current process or workflows?

But tell us what excited you about this technology and why you decided to kind of come on board at SodaCloud.

Well, it's funny.

So I've actually known the team, the executive team, as well as most of the team in the company for many, many years.

A lot of them are good friends.

But a lot of people don't know that my first entry into the industry was really on the imaging side.

And so I do have a good understanding of the various solutions out there.

And when I saw their product, I was absolutely blown away, not just from the workflow, the integrations and some of this, the things that they can do that other platforms simply can't.
