So is it at the company level, the team level, the minds of our individual employees? If I want to change culture, where should I be aiming my intervention?

I think it lives in all of those levels.

But I actually think there's a pretty straightforward prescription if you want to change culture.

I think the simplest definition is just culture is shared beliefs.

That's what it is.

What do we all believe? If you want to change how people behave, don't go after the behavior.

Go after the belief that drives the behavior.
