Did you luck out in terms of weather? I'm thinking of how this was a sailing voyage primarily during hurricane season, and we've had a mercifully quiet Atlantic hurricane season so far.
45:07
Yeah, weather-wise, on the whole, we were very lucky.
45:10
We had very mild conditions.
45:12
The worst weather we saw was actually on July 3rd in New York Harbor.
45:15
We saw... a 70-knot squall that was like almost hurricane force in New York Harbor.
45:21
There's some videos floating around of the Sandy Hook anchorage and all the other ships anchored out there.
45:25
We were actually sailing in the harbor for a sunset cruise when it hit us.
46:37
People were so stoked to see

Can you describe the ELISA for our listeners?
1:51
So as you said in your introduction, this was launched in Aberdeen, Scotland in 1877.
1:57
She was kind of like a modern-day hotshot truck at the time.
2:01
So she was what they call a tram trader.
2:03
She would go around from port to port picking up cargo and hauling things around.
2:08
She did everything from timber to coal to bananas to cigarettes at one point.
2:14
So now she is a sailing school vessel and museum ship.
2:59
What are you and your crewmates most looking forward to today?
2:11
Mm-hmm
2:11
... and he's always been super helpful.
2:13
So I asked him if he had like extra frame rails laying around and he said, "No, but we have a shell of a TSX that we've had since 2009, uh, sitting behind the shop." And uh, I was like, "Well, that's, that's certainly an option." And it didn't seem at the time to me that it was gonna be hugely more expensive or take much more effort to build a new shell versus fix the old one.

50:01
Mm.
50:01
Um, you know, Victor Perry at DPR Motorsports, uh, you know, I continue to get parts from him.
50:06
He's been great.
50:08
Uh, Eibach, IRUN OEM, uh, Race Break- Racebred Components, uh, K-Tuned, and then, um, you know, NASA for the, the race and stuff.
50:17
So those are kind of the, the people that have been helping me out so far, and also my buddy Mark at, uh, at Camel City.
