How do the commercial opportunities at what is a smaller ACC school differ from kind of those flagship SEC institutions?

Yeah, well, I appreciate you guys having us on today.

I think maybe some schools only put one person on here, but you got to have two on here for us to be able to fill the slot.

But no, I was really excited about the opportunity at Georgia Tech.

I think when you think about the competitive advantages of being in a major marketplace, especially as revenue growth is occurring in the marketplace.

So being at a major metropolitan city, when corporate sponsorships are becoming such a pivotal and useful tool in the competitive landscape that we're in, also philanthropy.

But if you take a step back and certainly, Missouri, I would say was positioned in a very highly resourced SEC.

Maybe we can just dive in and give us sort of the lay of the land of how you pulled that off.

We were hopeful that the Protect College Sports Act would get voted on.

In the last governmental session going to the Senate, it got delayed.

But that conversation of the new bill has an increased cap, which would be all revenue coming from the institutions to our players from a revenue share standpoint.

Right now we live in a world with the House settlement of 20.5 goes up by 4%, 21.3 million that can be shared, and then it's third-party shares.

How's it going so far? What are you seeing from him in the early stages?

I think Scott, he's a builder.

I've been to a couple practices early.

The energy, the connection between the players, I think we've really improved our guard play, which was a critical component, I think, in college basketball.

You've got to have great guards.

You've got to be able to create your own shot.

You've got to be able to make the three-point shot at a high rate and a high clip.

Are you kind of sensing the same thing?

Uh, what are you, I guess, most excited about, about your new football team going into this season?

I mean, probably the unknowns.

I mean, the things that keep you up at night are the things you're most excited about.

I mean, it's, it's every, every year is a new year.

I don't believe in sus- you know, you know, sustainability, you know, year after year and the momentum continuing to go.

I mean, every year is, 35% of your team is, is, is new, right? So you have to, you know, every day you're working to, to establish a culture in your locker room, to establish the standard in your program and the mindset those guys have to have every day.

And if you take a day off of that now, I mean, you're gon- you're gonna fall behind and it's gonna slip.

But they, they, they sure as heck are not gonna bring it down.
