so i i enjoyed that a lot but i had to change who i was and i couldn't be in a funeral home full time because i can't get my switches off i would pick up stacks of chairs i would move flower arrangements i would catch people who were falling to the floor i would pick up a casket or I would do things I really shouldn't be doing.

And I had to figure out what I was gonna do with this because I love my work.

I was called to it and I consider it an immense privilege for a family to trust me with their heart.

And I missed being with the grieving family So the celebrant movement came along at just the right time for me.

And for those that are watching that don't know what a celebrant is, that's someone who comes alongside when someone died and talks about who died and why they mattered.

And I love to tell a person's life story and start on the day they were born and what the world was like that day.
