And what were your plans at that point? You mentioned they're all sort of already about activism and that kind of starting to be awakened in your mind, let's say, but at that point in your life, at that point in studying, what were your hopes and what did you end up sort of studying and doing from that point on?

I had no idea what to do.

Interestingly, even though I'm from a workplace background, education was quite important.

And I quite enjoyed school, so I guess I just liked going.

And the group of parents that I did have at the time, they were all applying to university, so I was like, that's just the next thing I do.

I do wonder if, because both my younger siblings didn't go to university either, and I do wonder if I was younger and I'd seen them not go, would that have changed what I then did? Because I just thought I was going along with what everybody was doing, and that's what I had to do.

So that's why I applied to university, but I had no idea I just went along with what everybody else was doing and that's what I had to do.
