So what do you think, what do you feel the system, how does the system operate now? I know from a clinician point of view, but from somebody who is, you know, who's been a service user, what do you think in terms of access and equity?
37:44
I feel access and equity can definitely be a lot better.
37:50
Let me start with access.
37:52
Access, we feel everybody can access something within the NHS, but as you rightly said, that's not the case because the NHS, even based 16 years ago when I started my journey as moved very significantly into a digital first access to healthcare service.
38:13
And I feel we need to go back to a people first service because when we moved into a digital first service, We made that mandatory and the only way to access it.
38:26
That has disadvantaged so many people and not just elderly people.
38:31
You know, you have people who are living in poverty that might not have access to a smartphone or access to broadband.
43:00
And it was so exhausting.
8:14
How was the diagnosis delivered to you?
8:17
I'll never forget the day that I received my diagnosis.
8:22
It had been a journey of nine months.
8:25
So, um, the way I got sick, I had a cold.
8:30
And normally when you catch a cold, for me, I feel really awful for two days or so.
8:36
But after two days, I start to get better.
8:39
But for me, it was two weeks and I was progressively getting worse.

Ruth, when did you realize that something was not working with your lungs? And how the diagnosis has been told you?
