Can you just talk about that for a second, and we'll just kind of work our way into

things? Yeah, sure.

And this draws back, and I'm probably going to refer to we a lot.

You mentioned Tony Rothstein is going to be one of your upcoming guests, and he's the other co-director of the Adult ADHD Program and co-founder of So, you know, we've drawn, we've learned a lot from working with a lot of adults with ADHD over the years and being the psychologist and heading up the CBT part, the cognitive behavioral therapy piece.

You know, one of the things as the field's been evolving and we have better understanding of sort of the forces driving ADHD, moving beyond just attention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity, these are important features of But what's driving that? And there's multiple, and this will get to what we'll talk about later, about the wider effects of dopamine than just the executive functions in the prefrontal cortex.

But in working with a lot of folks, and none of this will be a surprise for anybody familiar with adult ADHD, but a common difficulty associated with the problems of that bring people seeking treatment, be it medications or psychosocial treatment.

People aren't coming in saying, you know what, I'm distracted, I'm this, I have poor organizational skills.

and adapting, which just seems to be a very difficult thing for people except to be able to adapt nowadays, I find.

Yeah, I mean, there's a lot of things that have been made, you know, thankfully, you know, it's getting on summer.

So I'm very grateful that I don't have to adapt to not having an air conditioner.

But no, you're right.

It's and there's probably matters of degree.

What was I can't cite the study, but in talking about how much of a challenge is like a healthy one to face or the amount of friction.

And I forget how it was exactly described, but something like if you're taking on something or doing a project, you want to be like 85% there.

But um so I thought well okay maybe I'll tell some story about the Mona Lisa and I thought well maybe I'll tell the Monuments Men story of how she was protected from the Nazis during World War II and something I don't know and as I started to research her uh Started all the articles started referring to this heist in 1911 and I love a good art heist sure and And it turns out she was she was stolen from the Louvre in 1911 By a person who worked inside the Louvre who on a day where the museum was closed, but the work crews were all there he just put her under his arm and walked out and She was hanging on a wall with 30 or 40 other paintings and all crowded around her.

There's a photo of what it looked like in the book.

There were paintings above her.

But she was low enough and small enough that she could fit under his arm and he could walk out with his coat draped over her.

And so it wasn't until she went missing that people began to flock to the Louvre to see where she once had been.

And so people would lay flowers on the floor underneath where the painting had been.

Tell me about something that surprised you as you researched and wrote this book.

So unpack, if you would, as much as you feel led Abraham's story and how it intersects with Jesus' story and even with our story.

Yeah.

So before God's people had a nation before they had scriptures written down, before they had really any kind of a cohesive gathering, there was Abraham who lived in this city for all intents and purposes that was a pagan place.

He came from pagan origins, but he knew God and he walked with God in ways that are mysterious to us from Scripture.

But the Lord told him that I am going to make you, Abraham, the father of a great nation.

And your offspring will outnumber the stand on the seashore and the stars in the sky.

And you will be a blessing and you will be blessed.
