You know, I think it depends, but I think they realize to a certain extent how much trouble they're in.

Um, or maybe they're not acknowledging it, um, to the extent that they should be.

Um, you know, the lab-grown producers have made their product cheaper and in vast amounts.

Um, and, you know, diamond miners are falling behind in terms of making people want a natural stone.

There's just absolutely market value to a one or two carat D flawless diamond anymore.

Um, did you have any interesting conclusions, [laughs] uh, in your research for this story? Do people want a, a natural stone for big occasions like a wedding or, uh, an anniversary, or would they be quite happy with a lab-grown diamond, seeing as actually chemically they're identical?
